Realm Explorers is a book club that meets on Saturday mornings to discuss science fiction and fantasy novels.

GPL and the Guilderland Police Department team up every spring and fall for the nationwide Drug Take-Back Day, a one-day collaborative effort facilitating safe, anonymous disposal of prescribed and non-prescribed substances. This drive-through event is held in the library's side parking lot (take MercyCare lane and then an immediate right). PLEASE FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES: -Put your medications in a bag, if possible, and remove labels containing personal information. -Put bagged medications in a place that you can easily access while remaining in your vehicle, or place the bag in your trunk so an officer may retrieve it. -Drive through to the drop off point and stay in your vehicle. -Follow the officers' instructions. What CAN be disposed: -Controlled, non-controlled, and over the counter substances. -Medication in its original container or removed from its container and disposed of directly into the disposal boxes. -Pet Medication What CANNOT be disposed: -No sharps and syringes No questions asked; no identification required.
