Leaves are changing and the nights are getting colder. But don't retreat indoors just yet! The Autumn night sky is filled with wonderful opportunities for stargazing, including the Orionid and Geminid meteor showers, full moons, and constellations. Join us on Zoom for this special presentation by Dr. Mindy Townsend, Astronomer for the Dudley Observatory at Siena College, as she talks about the wonders of the Autumn night sky. Dr. Townsend will also suggest some stargazing tips and apps you can use for identification. After the talk, consider checking out one of our two powerful telescopes to plan your own stargazing party!
You will receive the Zoom link once you've registered, and again in a reminder email 24 hours before the program begins. In case you lose the email, there's also a link at the right of this page!
