Supporting a Loved One with a Disability

        Through Challenging Behaviors

Presented by Wildwood Programs Family Support Director,

            Brittany DeBell, LMHC

In this workshop we will look at:

  • The basics of why harmful challenging behaviors (hitting, refusal, biting, etc) occur for a child with a developmental disability.
  • We will be learning about the 5 different motivators that cause challenging behaviors, which ones might be impacting your child, and the basic behavioral strategies you can implement to help them through a behavioral outburst.

*Behavior support is not a one size fits all application, so please use your own knowledge of your child when implementing strategies within your home.

Registration encouraged. Walk-ins are Welcome.
