Toastmaster Area Contest

On Saturday January 25, 2025, the Guilderland Library will host the Toastmasters Area 51 Speech Contest. This contest will feature the winners from four Area 51 Toastmasters clubs competing in two speech categories - International (5 to 7 minute speech) and Table Topics (1 to 2 minute speech) - to see who will advance to the District level speech contest. Frank L. Palmeri, a member of NYS Forum Toastmasters, is the Contest Chair and will run the contest in accordance with Toastmasters speech contest rules. The public is welcome to attend. The contest will take place in the Helderberg room, starting at 10AM. Toastmasters speech contests are a great way to demonstrate how members can improve in public speaking in a fun and exciting way.
