The wonderful David Gleason Trio returns for another concert at the Library, performing original compositions and selections from the great American jazz piano trios.  Group leader David Gleason is a remarkable pianist, composer, and music educator in the Capital District.  He has researched folk and popular music in Puerto Rico and Cuba and is a contributing ethnomusicologist to the Museo Del Barrio’s permanent collection online. Gleason led the critically acclaimed Latin jazz ensemble Sensemayá, and has performed with numerous ensembles, including RumbaNaMa, The Boston Latin Band, Bopitude, the Big Soul Ensemble, and the Empire Jazz Orchestra.  He is joined by longtime collaborator, Mike Lawrence, on bass, and Andy Hearn on drums.  Gleason's concerts routinely draw our most enthusiastic audiences.  This is a concert you won't want to miss!
