Event Details

You’re invited every other month to read a select memoir with us. Our book club meets in-person in the Westbrook Meeting Room.

This month we’re reading "Tastes Like War: A Memoir by Grace M. Cho". Winner of the 2022 Asian/Pacific American Award in Literature.  Part food memoir, part sociological investigation, Tastes Like War is a hybrid text about a daughter’s search through intimate and global history for the roots of her mother’s schizophrenia.

This title is available in print and digitally on Libby and Hoopla (ebook & audiobook)!

Please pick up a copy of this month's book by stopping by the information desk. Call or email us at ask.librarian@guilderlandlibrary.org for assistance placing a hold.
