Program Description

Event Details

Celebrate National Novel Writing Month this November by playing a writing game at the library!

Mad Libs may be a goofy way to pass the time, but you can learn a lot about writing and how to build a story by playing them. They teach the parts of a sentence as well as the difference a single word can make in a story.

Come prepared to write! We will warm up by playing pre-made Mad Libs as a group, then we will practice turning public domain passages into Mad Libs before we take some time to write a short passage to be transformed into your very own original Mad Lib!
