Are you looking for a meaningful volunteer opportunity that can support your neighbors in the Guilderland community?  Consider becoming a volunteer tutor to work with an adult who would like to learn or improve their English!

LVORC serves over 250 adult learners throughout Renssealer, Albany, and Schenectady counties. Our volunteer tutors are trained and supported by staff and provide reading, writing, and English instruction to individuals or small groups. Please join us on Thursday October 3rd at 11am for our Tutor Orientation session to be held at the Guilderland Public Library to learn more about how you can help in your community.

This orientation will be an informational session about us and our adult learners with some time afterwards for questions and answers. Following this, you will be invited to complete a self-paced online training course.
