GPL Sunday Concert: Drank the Gold

Chase away the winter blues with another wonderful Sunday concert at GPL! Saratoga Springs-based musicians Oona Grady (fiddle/viola/vocals) and James Gascoyne (guitar/banjo/vocals) collaborate as Drank the Gold.  The duo are the recent winners of the 2023 Folk/Traditional Artist of the Year at the NY Capital Region Thomas Edison Music Awards, familiarly known as "the Eddies."  Together, the duo play and sing North Atlantic dance tunes and folk songs, influenced by Oona's Irish music background and fiddle skills paired with James' experimental, innovative musical roots.  They bring new perspectives and innovative arrangements to the music they love.
