Fright Club: Shirley Jackson Collection

Welcome to another spine-tingling series of Fright Club!  Fright Club is our passive adult Horror Fiction book club, perfect for those who love a good scare!  How does it work? Simply register each month for your book club kit and pick it up at the beginning of the month. Each kit includes a member letter, discussion questions, fun facts about the author and novel, a journal for your thoughts, GPL swag, and a fun themed giveaway! 

This series, we’ll be focusing on short stories that pack a big punch in a small package. Be sure to register for each month and join in on the frightful fun! 

**September**:  Dive into the eerie world of the **Shirley Jackson Collection**. Her haunting tales will make you question reality and have you looking over your shoulder!

**October**: Harvest some chills with **Dark Harvest** by Norman Partridge. This one is all about creepy autumn vibes and sinister small-town secrets!

**November**:  Get ready to run from the Headless Horseman with Washington Irving's **The Legend of Sleepy Hollow**. This classic tale is packed with haunting legends and eerie atmosphere.

**December**:  End the year with our tradition of reading **A Christmas Carol** by Charles Dickens. This ghost story with a heartwarming twist is perfect for the holiday season.

**Movie Adaptations**: Throughout each month, we’ll be showing movie adaptations of the stories we’re reading. No registration is required—just come and enjoy!  And don't miss our interactive movie showing of *A Muppet's Christmas Carol*, where you can sing along and participate in all the festive fun!
