Richard Wang, Chinese calligrapher and past exhibitor of art and host of calligraphy workshops at a few area libraries - has won a grant from the Arts Center of the Capital Region. The grant was written to support public libraries as a space for exhibits and activities that make Chinese writing - so mysterious! - more accessible. Further, to explore the meditative aspect of brush calligraphy, the universal creative process of setting - and expressing intention - in the present moment.
