Event Details

When the Winter season settles in, many of us want to curl up with a good book and a cup of cocoa or maybe do a quiet activity and slow down. Don't fight it—bring more hygge into your life! Pronounced "hyoo-ga," this Danish concept means a sense of well-being and cozy contentment, and we could all use that in our lives...

So, unwind and create some hygge vibes at home with our Winter Craft & Bingo Kit. Included is a yarn art wall-hanging craft, a suggested reading list to help you find balance & calm, cocoa mix, a votive candle and bingo card of hygge-based activities to center yourself and celebrate some simple pleasures. 

Email us at Ask.Librarian@guilderlandlibrary.org a pic of your craft, OR you completing one of the many activities on the bingo sheet by March 15th, and your name will be entered in a raffle to win a Hygge Board Game!

Kit pick-up Feb 1-9, 2023. Raffle entries taken through March 15, 2023.
