The Illustrated Book Club will meet monthly to talk about the book selection, watch the screen adaptation, eat some snacks and meet other lovers of comic books, graphic novels and manga!
For the March meeting we will be reading the second volume (chapters 5-8) of Fullmetal Alchemist! Limited copies are available to pick up at the children's desk or request through the library catalog. This manga is also available on ComicsPlus to read online!
*Please note different editions contain different chapters. The original edition and the ComicsPlus edition include chapters 5-8 while the "Fullmetal edition" contains chapters 7-12. We also have 3 in 1 editions which contain volume 1 through 3 so you can catch up from last month!
At the meeting we will be watching episodes 4-6 of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Please note that this series is rated TV-14.
This program is recommended for grades 8 and up, however 6th and 7th graders are welcome to join.
