The Guilderland Public Library, will be collecting new or like-new:
adult paperbacks both fiction and non-fiction
adult fiction and non-fiction hardcover books
current adult biography, self-help, cookbooks, history books
children's board books
children's hardcover and softcover picture books
children’s chapter books for elementary and middle school students
We’re especially looking for children’s books of all types!
You'll find a donation bin in the Library's lobby
Donated books will benefit Grassroot Givers’ Book Project. Books will be distributed to Capital Region children through Grassroot Givers’ network of 20+ Little Free Libraries, partner nonprofits, schools, the Book Bike, the Capital Region Teacher Book Bank, and HATAS's Feed and Read Backpack Program.
Sorry, we cannot accept:
Worn, torn, ripped or moldy books, books older than 10 years, encyclopedias, videos, tapes or CD's, magazines, computer books more than 3 years old, test prep books older than the current year, textbooks of any kind.
